2026 INTERNATIONAL DAY OF PEACE – 21 September 2026 Young Women’s Continued Commitment to Supporting Peace Initiatives
Publié le 21/09/2026
On the occasion of the 2026 International Day of Peace, the young women supported by the Global Humanity and Leadership Foundation (GHL Foundation) committed themselves to taking concrete action to promote peace, prevent conflict, and strengthen social cohesion.
Gathered within GHL’s Peace Clubs, they reaffirmed their determination to promote dialogue, non-violence, tolerance, respect for differences, and solidarity in their schools, families, neighbourhoods, and communities.
They committed themselves, in particular, to combating rumours, misinformation, and hate speech; raising awareness among other young people about conflict prevention; and using social media to spread messages of peace.
Through its Youth, Peacebuilding and Entrepreneurship Department (JPBE), GHL Foundation will continue to support these young women through training, mentoring, and community-based initiatives.
Through their commitment, GHL’s young women demonstrate that every girl can become a voice for peace, a responsible leader, and a true agent of change in her community.
“Peace is built every day through listening, dialogue, respect, and solidarity.”
And you, young men, what small action can you take today to contribute to peace in your community?
